Every morning, people waited for the bus outside Mr. Iqbal's shop. There was no bench. One rainy day, he placed an old green chair beneath the awning.
The chair was for anyone who needed a seat. A tired nurse sat first. Then a parent held a sleeping child there. People stood when an older rider arrived. Months passed. Paint peeled, and one leg began to wobble. Before Mr. Iqbal could repair it, the chair vanished. He thought someone had taken it.
