Look at the dot and press Show. A shape shows in the middle and a star on the ring, then a plain cover. Choose the shape, then tap where the star was. Take as long as you like.
Levels 1 to 3 widen the ring. Levels 4 and 5 add look-alike shapes on the ring: find the star among them.
Keys: Space shows the picture, 1 and 2 choose the shape, the arrow keys move around the ring and Enter chooses a place.
After a strong round, the result offers the next level.
About this practice
Quick look is practice at taking in more at a glance: seeing something briefly in the middle and noticing where something appears around it.
The display time adapts to you. It starts at half a second, gets shorter after two looks in a row with both answers right, and longer after a miss, between 50 ms and one second. Your quick look is the time it settles at.
Your result is set beside your own last round at the same level, never beside other people’s rounds. Answering is never timed.

If brief pictures are uncomfortable for you, choose another practice. Nothing flickers, and you can stop at any time.
Times are counted in whole frames of your screen, so compare rounds on the same screen. A result describes one round; it does not measure your eyesight.
