One shape is named above the board. Find it among the others. Some rounds it jumps out at you, and some rounds you have to hunt.

The board fits your screen, so results are compared only with the same screen size.

Find the one that is named.

One shape is named above the board. Find that shape in the grid and tap it. Some rounds it will jump straight out at you, and some rounds you will have to hunt for it.

How to play

A shape and a colour are named above the board, like "the red circle". Find it and tap it.

On some rounds the target is the only thing of its colour, and it jumps out however many shapes are on the board.

On the other rounds half the shapes share its colour and half share its shape, so nothing about it stands out and you have to check the board piece by piece. Those rounds get slower as the board fills up.

Both kinds appear equally often, and each pair hides its target in the same square, so the difference between them is about the search and not about where things were.

At the end you see how much slower the hidden ones were. That gap is the point of the practice.

The board fits your screen. A small screen packs the same shapes closer, which changes the task, so results are only ever compared with the same screen size.
