About this practice

List recall is a practice in remembering a short list, like the things you need from the shop. Study the list for as long as you like, press Ready, then choose its items from a larger set of pictures with their names.

Level 1 has 5 items to pick from 10, level 2 has 7 from 14, and level 3 has 10 from 20. The items are the things Shop within a budget sells and other everyday things.

The story method is something you can use: link the items into one short story, one after another, so each one brings the next to mind. You can hide the tip under More settings.

There is no time limit for studying the list or for choosing.

Your result is set beside your own last round at the same level, in this browser. It is not compared with other people.

Every picture was drawn for QuickenBrain, and each item has its name under it, so no answer depends on color alone.

You can also write the list from memory on paper first, then choose the items here.

Each word counts once. The score describes this list only. A category cue marks the round as assisted without changing the score.

Your typed words stay on this page. Only the round’s counts and active time are saved.
