Word search

Choose Word list for the spellings, or Clues to work out each word’s meaning first. An 8 × 8 board has six words, 10 × 10 has eight, and 12 × 12 has ten. Tap the first and last letters of a word, then select Check word. Horizontal, vertical and diagonal words are allowed, forwards or backwards.

You can change the end letter before checking. Tap the selected start again, or choose Clear selection, to start a new selection. Finding the same word again does not count as another attempt.

Keyboard: Tab to the grid, use arrow keys to move, then Enter or Space to choose each endpoint. Escape clears your selection. On a narrow screen, swipe sideways inside a larger grid; keyboard focus also brings letters into view.

Statistics count correct words divided by checked selections. Only puzzles with every word found are saved. Results stay separate by mode, board size and word count.

An internet connection is needed to load a word set and its clues. After loading, the grid and controls work on your device. We do not generate clues with live AI.
