Fold a cube net

Follow shared edges to find which cube faces end up opposite.

Fold across a shared edge

Six squares make a cube net. A and B share an edge, so they remain adjacent after folding. Faces that share an edge cannot be opposite. Touching only at a corner does not give this rule.

Track the three opposite pairs

Hold A facing you. B and C become the left and right faces; D and E become the top and bottom. F closes the back. The opposite pairs are A and F, B and C, and D and E. These two views show the same cube from opposite sides.

Try a different net

This net has a different layout, not just new letters. Keep G as your reference and follow the folds across shared edges. Which face ends up opposite G?
