Recognize a studied word

Study the six English words in this list. Take as long as you need. In the practice, choose Ready, hide the list when you want to begin answering.

Each question then shows one word. Choose On the list if it was in the original study list, or Not on the list if it was not. A word can be familiar in everyday life without belonging to this list.

The original list stays fixed. Words in later questions do not become part of it.

The word dish was in the original six-word list. Choose On the list, even though the word now appears alone rather than in its old position.

A round uses each studied word once, mixed with an equal number of words that were not studied. No word repeats among that round’s questions.

Levels 1, 2 and 3 start with six, nine and twelve words, followed by twelve, eighteen and twenty-four questions. You answer at your own pace.

Was fountain in the six words you studied at the beginning? Think back to that list, not to whether you know the word’s meaning.
