Each round picks a theme you have not had lately.

Take as long as you like, then press Done.

One theme · As many words as you like · No time limit

Help

There are 13 themes, the same in every language: animals, food, clothes, the kitchen, the garden, the body, family, jobs, town, travel, nature, the weather and music.

There is no time limit unless you choose 60 seconds in More settings. Then the list ends on its own when the minute is up.

Capital letters, accents, a word such as "the" and ordinary plurals make no difference, and you can add several words at once with commas between them.

Press Enter to add a word. Commas add several at once.

About this practice

Category list is a calm practice in finding words: pick an everyday theme and name as many things in it as you comfortably can.

The result counts the words it recognized and sets the count beside your own last list for that theme. It is never compared with anyone else.

The words you type stay on this page. Only the theme, the time setting and the two counts are saved.

Pick an everyday theme and name as many things in it as you comfortably can.
