The delay starts when the final study pair disappears. It includes your second immediate recall and the 60-second activity.
Word recognition measures familiarity with a studied word. It is separate from remembering which words were paired.

How this data is usedHow this practice works
Study each pair for 3 seconds, then type the paired word when its cue appears. Do this twice. Compare shapes for 60 seconds, then recall every pair once more before seeing the word recognition choices.
Your first answer counts. Capital letters and extra spaces at the ends do not matter; spelling must match. You can choose “I don’t remember” to move on. No correct answers appear until recall and word recognition are complete.
Keep this page visible and in focus. A hidden page, lost focus or interrupted timing ends the attempt without saving a result. There is no pause or resume during a round.
Only completed counts and timing are saved. The word pairs and your typed answers stay in this round. Comparisons use recall after the activity; word recognition is reported separately.
These are original English word associations. The eight settings describe association load; they are not calibrated ability scores or a diagnostic memory test.
