Push the boxes

Push each box onto a target. You can push but never pull, so plan before you move.

Example

Example

You can push a box but never pull it. Where should you stand to push this box onto the target?

Choose a side to see where the box goes.

One or two boxes in a small room.

How to solve
  1. Before each push, find the square behind the box. You have to stand there, and the square in front of the box must be free.
  2. Keep boxes off the walls and out of corners unless a target is there. A box against a wall can only slide along it.
  3. Choose the order. Fill the target that is hardest to reach first, so the boxes you place early do not block the way.
  4. If a box is in the way, park it in an open spot for a while and come back for it later.
  5. Undo as often as you like. If a box gets stuck, step back to the last push that kept every box free.

Hatched floor is out of reach until a box moves.

Help

Push each box onto a target. You can push but never pull, so plan before you move.

Move one square at a time: up, down, left or right. Tap a square you can reach to walk there. Walk into a box to push it one square. You can never pull a box or push two at once. Put every box on a target. A box on a target shows a tick.

Choose a difficulty, then select Start. Hints first show where to look. You decide whether to reveal the reasoning or apply a step. Undo and redo let you revise your work.
