Learn how

Pick a table

Choose a table or a set, then press Start. A round is twenty facts.

Help

Read the fact and type the answer. Press Enter to check it. Press Enter again for the next fact.

Pick one table to drill it on its own, or a mixed set to jump between tables. The set you pick decides the grid at the end. Tables 13 to 20 are above the school set, so start there only once the rest are quick.

Both orders come up, because 7 × 8 and 8 × 7 have the same answer. Mixed sets also hide a factor in four of the twenty facts, so 7 × ? = 56 asks you to work backwards.

The clock is off unless you turn it on. With it on, a fact you do not answer in 5 seconds is marked wrong. The clock stops while the tab is in the background.

The grid at the end shows every fact in your set. The key under it names the four marks. One table holds twelve facts, so a round of twenty asks eight of them twice. A fact asked twice keeps its worst result.

Your score is how many of the twenty you answered correctly. It is multiplication practice, not a test of ability. Finish all twenty facts to save the round in this browser. Ending early saves nothing.

Type digits. Enter checks your answer. Enter again moves to the next fact. Escape ends the round. End ends it too, except while the caret is in the answer box.
